Colossians 3:18-21
Father's Day 2026

This Father’s Day message presents God as the incomparable yet compassionate Father revealed in Scripture. Beginning with Isaiah’s declarations that God cannot be compared to idols, created things, or earthly powers, the sermon explains that God Himself chooses to reveal His nature through fatherhood. Psalm 103 becomes the central text, calling believers to praise the Lord for His saving benefits, His mercy, His patience, His forgiveness, and His faithful love. The message emphasizes that God becomes Father in a saving and personal sense only through faith in Jesus Christ, who died, rose again, and intercedes for those who come to Him. The sermon concludes by challenging fathers to imitate the Heavenly Father through compassion, mercy, forgiveness, protection, provision, and godliness, reminding them that the greatest gift they can give their children is a faithful example of Christlike living.
